Looking for the top brew in 2019?
Time is ticking to enter the 2019 Sydney Royal Beer and Cider Show. With entries closing on 5 June, Sydney Royal is encouraging all Australian Beer and Cider producers to get their hops on and enter.
Sydney Royal competitions provide a strong foundation for the continued growth and increased quality of Australian produce; providing invaluable feedback from expert judges and allowing producers to benchmark their product against their industry peers. The Sydney Royal Beer & Cider Show attracts entries from right across Australia and helps to shape the tastes of beer and cider drinkers.
This year female beer pioneer Samara Fuss will head up the team for the first time. One of Australia’s first female brewers, Samara has over 20 years’ experience, including time with Little Creatures and Young Henrys, and is now steering the helm at Philter Brewing.
Samara and her team of expert Judges will begin their search for Australia’s finest brews on 30 July 2019 at the Sydney Royal Beer and Cider Judging, Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park. Champions will be announced on 17 August 2019 at the annual Sydney Royal Grape, Grain & Graze Festival. With attendance expected to include over 500 influential consumers and trade representatives, outstanding brews will shine through and attract industry and consumer attention.
Unique to Sydney Royal is the opportunity for Champions to be showcased at the Sydney Royal Taste of Excellence Awards, held on 24 September 2019, along with the chance to be on tap at the Sydney Royal Beer & Wine Bar in The Stables during the iconic Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Entries for the Sydney Royal Beer and Cider Show close 5 June 2019.
