The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) and Sydney Showground are elevating their food and beverage experience with the announcement of an exciting new partnership with award-winning Sydney distillery Archie Rose.

The RAS Foundation is making a significant investment towards agricultural innovation and sustainability through its sponsorship of 2025 Nuffield Farming Scholarship recipient, and dairy industry leader, Campbell Chesworth. 

The Rural Learning Exchange is a NSW Department of Education initiative that accommodates rural students who want to study an HSC subject that is not offered by their school. The program enables classes from different, small rural schools to connect across the state, facilitating collaboration between teachers and students.

RAS Foundation Chair and RAS Councillor, Robyn Clubb AM, will be stepping down from her roles at the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) this week following just over three decades of service. As the first woman elected to the RAS Council in 1993, Clubb has been a steadfast force within the not-for-profit agricultural and event organisation.

In May this year, we had the pleasure of supporting 31 students and teachers from Cobar High School to attend the Stand Tall event, the largest youth event of its kind in Australia. ​

The future of the Australian wine industry is looking bright, thanks to this year’s Sydney Royal Wine Study and Sydney Royal Wine Professional Development scholarship recipients who travelled to Sydney last week to assist in one of Australia’s oldest and most prestigious wine shows.

The Sydney Royal Wine Show, established in 1826, is one of the most prestigious wine shows in Australia, annually attracting over 2,200 entries from more than 350 producers across Australia. The RAS Wine Committee together with the RAS Foundation, offer two national scholarship programs: the Sydney Royal Wine Study Scholarship, and the Sydney Royal Wine Professional Development Scholarship.
