2022 Sydney Royal Easter Show
Every year at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, the RAS Foundation sells the AG Bag, commonly known as the “showbag that gives back”. Sponsored by SunRice and exclusively made up of Australian-made products from Australian companies, funds raised from the sale of the AG Bag go directly toward the RAS Foundation’s Community Futures Grant program. At this year’s Show, the AG Bag sold out, raising over $60,000. In addition to selling out, the Foundation was honoured to receive a special visit from Her Royal Highness, Princess Anne when she visited the Show to celebrate the RAS Bicentenary. Demonstrating great interest in the Foundation’s work, Foundation Manager, Cecilia Logan, took the opportunity to share the charity’s achievements including introducing Her Royal Highness to two previous Community Futures Grant recipients from Uarbry and Cumnock.
