1985 two nationalities meet

While with friends visiting the agricultural short film section I left them inside to finish their viewing. Sitting on a wall outside, a handsome male walked towards me. Not a word was spoken as he touched my shoulder with a plain paper bag. I looked up, he nodded and walked on. My friends came out from the exhibition and saw the exchange. One said she'd seen him earlier following us and then we looked inside the bag. Inside was a small clown with a porcelain face. After that bit of excitement we continued on and at various places the male smiled when I looked his way. Once inside the exhibit with various fruits, I purchased some apples, held one up to him, nodded and threw it up and over many other people and he caught it. All this was very amusing at the time and then when we were starting to exit the show, he quickly walked over and we exchanged phone numbers.

Arturo was from Chile in South America and after a short time we married. Stayed together for a few years. We are still in contact even though he now lives back in Chile. We always get together when he's back in Australia on holiday.
