Rabbit

Rabbits were first exhibited at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 1858 and today are one of the most popular domestic animal competitions for both Exhibitors and the bunny loving public!

The competition showcases many different breeds and attracts more than two hundred entries each year. From dedicated breeders to passionate pet owners, there's a class for every age and stage of owning rabbits.

In 2025 the sport of Rabbit Hopping which is fairly new but skyrocketing in popularity in Australia, will take centre stage with bunnies of all breeds and speeds displaying their show jumping skills in a competition guaranteed to delight Show-goers.

The Rabbit and Rabbit Hopping Competitions are self-administered by the Rabbit Fanciers Society of NSW Inc and Rabbit Hopping Society of Australia.
