The Ringmaster oversights everything that goes on in the main show ring and has the invaluable greencoats and trophy presenter to help him make it all happen – safely and usually on time. Arthur Bragg began stewarding for the RAS in 1956, was elected to Council in 1975 and became Ring Master in 1990. His job as Ring Master was made somewhat easier by some of the great Show acts that would entertain the crowd (edited extract from an interview with Vicki Hastrich in 2013).
