Roger Williams
Since the early days of the Royal Easter Show the coming together of remarkable people from all walks of life and from all parts of the country has made the Show into the remarkable institution it has become. Roger Williams was a David Jones display artist who started working at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in the 1950s with the Arts & Craft displays. Here he talks about the skills needed to highlight the Show exhibits to their best advantage(edited extract from an interview by Richard Raxworthy in 1997).
