2018 - Bruce White 

From Castle Hill, Sydney, Bruce White spent 41 years providing services to the beekeeping industry as an Apiary Officer with the NSW Department of Primary Industries. He worked at the RES from 1966 and in more recent times at the ‘Bee Zeebo’ activation in the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome, passing on his knowledge and passion for honey bees to Showgoers and school students. He’s also donated many hours to running other education programs including the honey Tutorials during the RAS’ annual ‘Ag Vision’. To reward decades of love and dedication to the bee and honey sector, in 2018 Bruce was named the RES Show Legend.
