2016 - Bobby Gregory 

Bobby Gregory was an icon of the Sydney Royal cattle section. He led his first animal at the RES in 1938 and continued until his retirement in 1993, never missing a Show.  He prepared and paraded Angus cattle and won 17 Grand Championships in the Beef Cattle Paraders competition. Following retirement he devoted time to fostering youth in the cattle industry through presenting and parading at many schools.  His longevity, combined with his outstanding achievements and contributions to the Show sector led to his award as RES Show Legend in 2016. Bobby passed away in Tamworth in 2020.
