Known as the ‘Lord of the Rings’ and the ‘Golden Voice of the Royal’, John Nash began his Royal Easter Show career in 1957 when the regular Show announcer failed to appear. Stepping into the commentary position that year, he continued to call the main arena feature events until he retired in 1992. John’s 40 years of service to the Show includes a close involvement in the development of the Young Achievers program and he became the Show Legend of 2002.
