A Gold Reserved stand for the GWS Giants, and First-Class Seating for Sydney Thunder fans, the Vincent Fairfax Stand is also the exclusive Council Stand during the Sydney Royal Easter Show with its private suites and Council rooms available to the President and guests.

The Fairfax name has been synonymous with the RAS going back to 1859, and the Fairfax family proudly take one of the top spots amongst other multi-generation RAS families. Sir Vincent Fairfax took up a position on the Council in 1950, following in the footsteps of his father, uncles, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was Honorary Treasurer, a member of the Finance Committee and was President 1969-1979. The Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation provided an endowment to assist with the establishment of the RAS Library and Archives, and in 2007 also assisted with funding to help with the establishment of the RAS Foundation.
